Henkel & Grosse, later known as Grossé, was a German jewelry firm founded in 1907by Heinrich Henkel and Florentin Grosse. Initially specializing in hair jewelry, they transitioned to costume jewelry after World War I. The company gained recognition for their innovative designs and use of materials like Bakelite and aluminum, attracting collaborations with major fashion houses like Lanvin and Schiaparelli, and luxury retailers like Harrods and Saks. A significant turning point was their long-standing licensing agreement with Christian Dior, beginning in 1955, where they produced and distributed Dior jewelry worldwide
